in typical little boy style, digory fearlessly climbed a cliff and lay on his belly so he could look over the edge
i used a zoom lens to photograph him from below.

passing my garden and casually making note of the weeds to pull, i was astonished to see something strange poking out of my flower bed
up popped two little girls
surprise! they cried. we’re back to stay
there’s just something cool about looking off a bridge, i was really happy with the varied textures in this shot.
(digory just wanted to jump in and was quite upset that i wouldn’t let him.)
i love the way the sunlight sparkles on the water in this shot.
noni and beezie blow kisses to their friends. they’ve been exploring the garden and beezie found a bee-yu-ti-ful flower. don’t let her demure look fool you, i had to bribe her to wear a dress and even then she adamantly refused to take off her goggles!
digory loves his skateboard so much he takes it everywhere. we dragged it up the mountain on our hike and he tried to ride it on the rocks. rather a bumpy ride i think, but he didn’t care.
digory found a tree in the woods that he said would be the perfect size for a christmas tree. he didn’t want to hear that christmas is too far off, or that we weren’t allowed to dig up or cut down trees in the provincial park. i think he just wants presents 😆
beezie is showing off the lovely clothes she got from aunty gill. it is unusual to find her in a dress. she graciously informed me that smidge could have it when she gets home, but i think she looks sweet in it. (she read that last over my shoulder and stated emphatically that she is NOT sweet, she is an explorer!
the second outfit from aunty gill was a lovely pair of knit pants and shirt. this one beezie claimed as her own but stated that smidge would have to get her own shoes as she is not giving these ones up.
here is an absolutely gorgeous outfit we got from smilga (see link on side to see more of her wonderful stuff!)
beezie wanted to show how nice it looks with her new hair and of course her ever present goggles 😆
we were fighting the wind (blowing her hair) our cat (sure she must be a strange mouse) and strong shadows ’cause it was kind of late in the day. i’ll have to take a better picture later.
my third full faceup.
tiera is a luts honey delf, pitta. it’s a very sweet sculpt and a lot of fun to play with.
i found it hard to pick a wig for her once her faceup was done. her head was smaller than i’d expected and her new coloring didn’t suit the wig i had ordered with her. my final choice, the pink wig she is wearing, was cut down from a kemper raven. the bangs were way too long- they covered her eyes- and the wig dragged on the floor in the back. i trimmed the bangs and cut the back to a more wearable length.
i’ve ordered a couple of black/dark brown wigs for her that i hope will work. i like that color on her as well to my surprise ( i thought since she looked so good in pale pink that she would end up a blonde -but the dark was MUCH better). i like my girls to have at least one fantasy color and one ‘normal’ color for variety.
unfortunately the only dark wigs i had in that size were too heavy for her features, so i’ve ordered a soft mohair wig, which i think will suit her much better.
i am quite happy with her overall look right now, very delicate and girly, and look forward to lots more photoshoots.
digory was getting awfully hot running around in sweaters all the time, so he requested a new t-shirt. i love the colors and the way the embroidery turned out, but i really need to learn how to sew knits properly, cause the neckline is pretty wonky!
