all the squares finished and crocheted together. i was debating adding a border, but didn’t like how it looked when i started so ripped it out. i may change my mind and add one later, but for now i’m calling it done

i’m re-reading the benni harper mystery series (by earlene fowler) and was inspired to crochet a quilt, this is the complete color repeat, but i need to add a couple more rows before it is big enough to start squaring of the corners

i’ve been working on this afghan for a couple of years, including a stop when i ran out of yarn and had to order more! i really wanted to do at least one blanket in a really fine scale, so this is done in cobweb weight yarn using a 1mm hook.

now i’m just trying to decide whether it is done and can be blocked as is, or do i need a border to really make it look finished.

what do you think?
