doll a day 10 sleep
doll a day july 9 technology
it all start with a fairly typical squabble between the boys and the girls. you know the one…. “anything you can do i can do better?” the little boys were loudly proclaiming their superiority at all things, especially athletic, and amber had just had enough. the day had been rather hot and she was rather tired and cranky to begin with i think. anyway she said the girls were so much better than the boys that she could beat them at soccer with dovey as her partner, even though dovey can’t walk! of course the boys didn’t stop to think, they just accepted the dare.

doll a day july 6 – water
a sudden hail storm inspired a different interpretation of the word “water” than i had planned. emrys and noah were wide eyed at the huge piles of snow balls all over the yard and insisted on going out for a snowball fight before they all melted away.

i caught wren outside today in our big willow tree out back reading “anne of green gables”. she was relaxing and enjoying summer the same way i used to as a kid. so it seemed appropriate to title today’s picture memories
high above wren’s head, hiding in the shadows, our cat ashes was watching, ready to pounce when she least expected it 😆
dolly a day july 2-4
the second day and already i’m behind, but i had a specific image in my head for the word “blanket” and i just couldn’t let it go. it took this long to finish the pajamas i needed to make it work.
after i took the picture though, i saw the reflections in the floor and decided i would rather use this picture for that theme ( i do have three days to catch up after all ;))
so i used this one instead for “blanket”.
and of course how can you have a blanket without a “pillow”?
btw the pj’s are the prototype for my newest line on etsy .

trying a new doll a day challenge. i’ll have to see how many days we can get this month. my record is only 11 so it shouldn’t be too hard to beat should it? we’ll see though…
anyway today’s word was secrets and i caught emrys and noah spying on crystalorn and alys as they whispered secrets to each other on the front porch. seemed perfect to me…
wren’s new dress
i have to show off wren in this adorable dress by honeythorpe
i saw the dress and snagged it ’cause it was so cute even though none of my girls will wear anything this frilly. but to my surprise it turned out to be the perfect welcome home dress for wren! (which is great ’cause i haven’t been able to sew lately and she would have had to sit around nude otherwise )
swap goodies
crystal’s swap parcel arrived and she was so excited she tore open the parcel and dove in head first while i was setting up the camera! (this is her first swap after all)

a pretty felt jumper for those cooler summer evenings, we get a lot of those up here.

and a shorty set she couldn’t decide if she was supposed to wear to the beach or to bed , so decided she was just wear it for both! 😆 she also got the stuffie, pillow and cute wig in her favorite color..pink of course!

meet dovey and her power chair. sorry the picture is a bit blurry but i was running late today so i took it on my cell phone and it was hard to hold still while fighting off my overly inquisitive cat!
